Shackles
Welcome to Shackles!
A puzzle platformer made in 3 hours where moving and jumping builds up your shackle level. When it reaches its max, you won't be able to move or jump, but you'll get access to the slide/airdash ability.
You can crouch to lower your shackle level.
Keep track of your shackle level to get access to your ability at the right time and reach the door located at the end of each level.
You can jump and airdash up two times before hitting the ground.
Controls:
A/D,Q/D,Arrows Left/right: move left or right
W,Z,Arrow up: Jump
S,Arrow down: Crouch (lowers your shackle level)
Left Shift: Slide/Airdash when shackle level at maximum
R: Reset Level
This game was developed for Trijam #180 where the goal is to develop a game in under 3 hours(outside planning). The theme was: My weakness is also my strength.
